The All Natural Pond Product!
Th e use of barley straw has become an increasingly
popular way to improve water quality in ponds and water features.
This technique, however, is actually a tried and true technique that has
been used in Europe and other parts of the world for many years.
Dosage
rate: one bale per 100 sq. ft. pond surface.

Each one pound bale treats approximately 100
square feet of surface area

Each bale lasts approximately three to four
months. Apply a second bale to the pond four weeks after the first
treatment is done to ensure no interruption in water quality.

Safe, natural product - no threat to fish or
plants

Waters treated with barley may turn
tea-colored. This is due to the break down of the barley and usually
clears up within a week or two.
