• Innovative design allows you to choose between a vertical filter mat or filter brushes.

• Skimmers have a removable center divider, this creates two chambers in the skimmer box - one for filtering and one for the pump.  Pumps can be inspected or removed without removing mesh net or filter pad.

• Pro-Series Skimmers have a flange above the opening where water enters from the pond into the skimmer.  This allows you to not only stack rocks along side the opening but also above the skimmer opening.  This makers our skimmers the most natural looking and easiest to hide.

Choose your skimmer with either a filter pad or filter brushes.  Filter brushes can be purchased to retrofit existing skimmers.

Filter Brushes vs. Filter Pads Filter brushes reduce cleaning frequency and are less restrictive so pumps are less likely to run low on water.  Shown at left without debris net (included).  Brushes are very effective at removing solids from water while allowing water to flow freely into pump chamber.  Filter pads stand vertically in the skimmer and can be easily lifted out to be cleaned.  Matala premium filter material is used in all Pro-Series skimmers.  Replacement pad are available and can be retrofit for existing skimmers. UV OPTION FOR PS1FB SKIMMERS
The PS1FB skimmer can be outfitted with a UV Clarifier!  The 36 watt bulb is enclosed inside of a divider that slips in the place of the PVC divider that is located behind the filter rack.  The UV option must be used with filter brush racks NOT the filter pad style skimmers.  The UV option will drop the maximum GPM flow from 100 to approximately 60 GPM to provide adequate exposure time. 

Replacement UV bulbs and sleeves are available when needed.  All other parts last for years and years!

CHOICE OF FILTERS
Choose your skimmer with either a filter pad or filter brushes.  Filter brushes can be purchased to retrofit existing skimmers. 

Filter brushes - Best Choice!

Filter pads stand vertically in the skimmer (shown at right without debris net).  They can be easily lifted out for cleaning.

PRO-SERIES SKIMMER EXTENSION TUBE        

Extension tubes make your pond look much more natural by moving the skimmer box away from the pond!

This patented 24" long extension tube allows the skimmer to be placed back from the edge of the pond. This will allow for planting between the pond and skimmer making it easier to hide! Extension tubes can be bolted together to create longer extensions if needed. Price includes extension tube and bolts for installation.  Ideal for use in concrete walls.
